It has been an honor to represent the residents of Corcoran, Greenfield, Hanover, Independence, Long Lake, Loretto, Maple Plain, Medicine Lake, Medina, Minnetrista, Minnetonka Beach, Mound, New Hope, Orono, Plymouth, Rockford, Rogers, Spring Park, St. Bonifacius, and Wayzata on the Three Rivers Park Board of Commissioners.
Each year, Three Rivers Parks receives over 16 million visits — more than twice the population of Minnesota! Our parks are among the region’s greatest community assets, and protecting them for future generations remains a top priority.
My Commitment to Our Parks
I will continue working to:
- Deliver outstanding park visitor experiences
- Keep our parks accessible and welcoming for everyone
- Maintain a financially strong and sustainable park system
- Protect and preserve our natural resources

Serving The Community
Marge brings her skills and experience as an accountant and information technology professional to serve our community on the Three Rivers Park Board.
Marge founded Twin Cities BEST Dollars for Scholars, an all-volunteer nonprofit dedicated to helping people move out of poverty through education. Under her leadership, more than $100,000 in scholarships were awarded to academically advanced students, with demonstrated financial need, pursuing degrees in Business, Engineering, Science, and Technology at public colleges and universities.
She also served on the Board of PRISM (People Responding in Social Ministry) where her focus was providing for food, housing and basic needs of our community.
